Not always, I don't think so. If an employee lacks motivation, no amount of training can change that. However, I do believe it's a step in the right direction. Training sets higher standards and clarifies expectations for employees. It teaches them how to interact with customers to deliver better service. But how employees take in and apply this training depends on the individual. So, effective employee training can be beneficial, but I don't believe it guarantees good service.
