问题: What public morals should people follow in your country?

I think being polite when talking to others is important. Many young people forget to use "please" and "thank you" nowadays, but these words really matter in daily talk. It's very rude not to say them in a shop to the person helping you. Being polite is a simple way to show you care about others.

I’d definitely say speaking in a polite way to others. The magic words "please" and "thank you" seem to have been forgotten by lots of younger people today and it makes such a difference in everyday communication. It’s incredibly rude to buy something in a shop and not say them to the person serving you. It’s a way of showing consideration to others and it is so easy to do.

Definitely not throwing rubbish on the ground. It's so annoying that some people still litter, even when a bin is close by. And smokers often don't think their cigarette butts are litter, but they are. It's frustrating, and it seems like even with the government talking about it, people don't change their habits.

It drives me mad and it seems that no matter how much the government highlights this issue, people can’t change their ways.

I wish people would volunteer more in their communities. Nowadays, we're so focused on our own lives that we don't notice what's happening around us. Volunteering doesn't have to take a lot of time. Even simple things like checking on elderly neighbors used to be common, but now, not many people do it.

Volunteering in the community is something I’d like to see people do more of. We seem so wrapped up in our own worlds these days that we don’t see what’s happening around us in our own communities. It doesn’t have to be time consuming either. Something like just checking in on elderly neighbors used to be commonplace, but nowadays fewer and few people do it.
