× I guess it depends on my mood at that on that day because you know, sometimes when I was uh, walking when I want to perks myself up, I usually listen the some happy music songs, but when I'm not in the mood, I prefer the sad music.
✓ I guess it depends on my mood that day because sometimes when I'm walking and I want to perk myself up, I usually listen to some happy songs, but when I'm not in the mood, I prefer sad music.
The student mixes past and present tenses and uses incorrect verb forms and articles. Use present simple/present continuous for habitual or current states: 'I guess' and 'depends' match present. Use 'that day' rather than 'at that on that day'. Use 'I'm walking' (present continuous) instead of 'I was walking' when referring to general habit. Use 'want' with present 'I want to perk myself up' and correct verb form 'perk' and particle 'up'. Use 'listen to' (correct preposition) and 'some happy songs' (remove redundant 'music songs'). Use 'prefer sad music' (no article). Suggestions: keep tense consistent (present for general habits), use correct verb+preposition combos (listen to), and avoid redundant nouns (music songs).
× I think yet it is because whenever I listen to the kind of music likes pop, like EDM, it puts me up a lot and it is just give me a lot of energy to do my work. So I feel like I'm getting more excited, yeah.
✓ I think it is because whenever I listen to kinds of music like pop or EDM, it lifts me a lot and gives me a lot of energy to do my work, so I feel more excited.
The student uses 'likes' instead of correct 'like' and incorrect phrasing 'it puts me up' and 'it is just give' (subject-verb agreement and unnecessary words). Use 'kinds of music like' or 'music like', use verbs 'lifts me' or 'cheers me up', and correct subject-verb agreement 'gives me'. Remove filler 'just' where unnecessary. Suggestions: use 'like' for examples, ensure verb agrees with subject, and choose common collocations (cheer up, lift someone).
× I did have a music classes in the past when I was like in secondary school because this is like it is one of the main classes I have in the I have in school but to be honest it is just not my thing because some of them are boring.
✓ I did have music classes in the past when I was in secondary school because they were one of the main classes I had at school, but to be honest they were not my thing because some of them were boring.
Errors include incorrect article 'a music classes' (should be 'music classes' or 'a music class'), inconsistent tense and repetition. Use past tense 'did have' or simply 'had' and match plural 'classes' with plural verbs 'they were'. Use 'at school' not 'in the I have in school'. Suggestions: remove unnecessary fillers ('like', 'this is like'), keep consistent past tense for past experiences, and ensure articles match singular/plural nouns.
× Yes often, like most of the time I listen to music when I was walking uh, when I was walking, doing my homework and studying because you know it's feels a little boring when you do this work without like something to listen Yeah it's.
✓ Yes, often. Most of the time I listen to music when I'm walking, doing my homework, or studying because it feels a little boring to do this work without something to listen to.
The student incorrectly uses past tense 'was walking' when describing habitual actions; use present continuous 'I'm walking' or simple present for habits. 'It's feels' is incorrect; use 'it feels'. Also 'something to listen' needs 'to' at the end: 'something to listen to'. Remove filler 'like' and fix punctuation. Suggestions: maintain tense consistency for habitual actions, use correct subject-verb agreement ('it feels'), and place prepositions correctly ('listen to').
