Are there tall buildings near your home?
Thí sinh
No not really because I live in Venice so in Venice there is no skyline or whatever and I'm not actually from the center of Venice. I'm near Venice like 20 minutes by bus. So in my real town, no absolutely not. There is just small houses and or big houses but not building tall buildings.

Do you take photos of buildings?
Thí sinh
No, I don't unless I'm like in New York or in Vancouver where I'm doing my exchange here right now. And yeah, if they are like buildings like umm, newer in New York vibes or Vancouver vibes or Sydney vibes, yeah I will do it. But umm, if not, if it's another town.

Is there a building that you would like to visit?
Thí sinh
Yes, there is one in New York. I will probably go to New York, to New York next year. I don't know. I don't actually know yet, but I would like to visit the Empire State Building. That's the name, because I know these buildings thanks to Gossip Girl. It's so famous, it's so iconic. So I really want to go there to visit where they record this.

Do you want to live in a tall building?
Thí sinh
No, I don't. I grew up in a big house with two floors, almost three floor I would say. And so no, because because of this I will right there to live in a big house, just my house and not in a tall buildings where I don't know like an apartment or whatever, something like that.

Ví dụ: No, there aren't tall buildings near my home. I live outside the historic centre of Venice, about 20 minutes by bus, where most homes are low-rise. For example, the neighbourhood mainly has small houses and occasional two- or three-storey houses rather than high-rises.

Do you want to live in a tall building?
Điểm: 58.0Gợi ý: Provide a clear topic sentence and one or two specific reasons in a logical order. Correct grammar (e.g., "I grew up in a two-storey house"), avoid repetition, and replace vague phrases with concrete details (privacy, space, garden).
Ví dụ: No, I wouldn't like to live in a tall building. I grew up in a two-storey house with a garden, so I prefer a private house because it offers more space and privacy. For instance, I like having an outdoor area and separate floors rather than an apartment in a high-rise.
× No not really because I live in Venice so in Venice there is no skyline or whatever and I'm not actually from the center of Venice.
✓ No, not really, because I live near Venice, so there is no skyline where I live, and I'm not actually from central Venice.
Run-on sentence and awkward phrasing. Combine clauses with commas and use clearer prepositions: 'near Venice' instead of 'in Venice' when speaking of outskirts; 'central Venice' is more natural than 'the center of Venice'. Also remove filler 'or whatever' for formal clarity.
× There is just small houses and or big houses but not building tall buildings.
✓ There are just small houses or big houses, but there are no tall buildings.
Subject-verb agreement and noun number: use 'there are' with plural 'houses'. The phrase 'building tall buildings' is incorrect; reorder to 'tall buildings' and negate properly.
× No, I don't unless I'm like in New York or in Vancouver where I'm doing my exchange here right now.
✓ No, I don't, unless I'm in New York or Vancouver, where I'm currently doing my exchange.
Awkward tense and filler words. Use present continuous 'am doing' -> 'am currently doing' for clarity and remove unnecessary 'like' and 'here right now' redundancy.
× And yeah, if they are like buildings like umm, newer in New York vibes or Vancouver vibes or Sydney vibes, yeah I will do it.
✓ And yes, if the buildings have a newer, New York, Vancouver, or Sydney vibe, I will take photos of them.
Incorrect structure and repetition. Use adjective phrase 'newer ... vibe' and explicit verb 'take photos'. Remove fillers 'like' and 'umm'.
× But umm, if not, if it's another town.
✓ But if not, and if I'm in another town, I usually won't.
Fragment lacking main verb. Complete the sentence by stating the consequence 'I usually won't' (take photos) to make it a full sentence.
× Yes, there is one in New York. I will probably go to New York, to New York next year.
✓ Yes, there is one in New York. I will probably go to New York next year.
Redundant repetition 'to New York, to New York'. Keep a single future construction 'will probably go' plus 'next year'.
× That's the name, because I know these buildings thanks to Gossip Girl.
✓ That's the name, because I know the building from Gossip Girl.
Number mismatch and awkward phrasing. 'These buildings' is wrong; refer to a specific building with 'the building' and use 'from Gossip Girl' not 'thanks to' for natural English.
× So I really want to go there to visit where they record this.
✓ So I really want to go there to visit the place where they filmed it.
Incorrect verb choice and tense: use past tense 'filmed' for recorded TV scenes. Use 'place where they filmed it' for clarity.
× I grew up in a big house with two floors, almost three floor I would say.
✓ I grew up in a big house with two floors, almost three floors I would say.
Number agreement: use plural 'floors' when referring to multiple levels.
× And so no, because because of this I will right there to live in a big house, just my house and not in a tall buildings where I don't know like an apartment or whatever, something like that.
✓ So no. Because of that, I would prefer to live in a big house like the one I grew up in, not in a tall building or an apartment.
Multiple issues: repetition, incorrect word 'right there', article and number errors ('a tall buildings'), and vagueness. Rephrase to a clear preference sentence, fix article and singular/plural, and remove fillers.
