Thí sinh
Yes of course, and as a person I have various hobbies. I do lots of things when I have the free time to and everything that I do depends on the mood or how my day is on that day. It could be art, cooking, or maybe just going outside, meeting up with friends.

Did you have any hobbies when you were a child?
Thí sinh
I don't know if it can be called a hobby or just a thing that I really like to do most when I have a free time. But as a child I would like to do arts and crafts. That would be the activity that I would do most if I have a free time because I think that I am able to put all my thoughts and creativity.

Do you have the same hobbies as your family members?
Thí sinh
Yes, I do, and I think that the reason why is because I would often do arts and crafts with my sisters. So as they grew up, that became something that they like to do, even if they're doing it on their own. I think we just shared these little moments.

Điểm: 78.0Gợi ý: Provide a clear topic sentence, then give a concise explanation with a specific example of a shared activity and its effect on your relationship. Use linking words like "because" or "so" and avoid vague phrases like "I think" when possible.
Ví dụ: Yes, my sisters and I share hobbies, especially arts and crafts, because we used to make things together when we were young. For instance, we often spent weekends making greeting cards, which helped us bond and created fond memories.
× I do lots of things when I have the free time to and everything that I do depends on the mood or how my day is on that day.
✓ I do lots of things when I have free time, and everything I do depends on my mood or how my day is going.
The sentence contains awkward tense and extra words. 'have the free time to' is ungrammatical; use 'have free time'. 'depends on the mood or how my day is on that day' is redundant and mixes expressions. Use present simple 'depends on my mood' and present continuous 'how my day is going' to sound natural. Suggestion: remove unnecessary articles and redundant phrases, and use consistent present tense forms.
× I don't know if it can be called a hobby or just a thing that I really like to do most when I have a free time.
✓ I don't know if it can be called a hobby or just something I really like to do most when I have free time.
'a free time' is incorrect; 'free time' is uncountable and does not take an article. 'a thing' is better as 'something' for natural phrasing. Also remove 'a' before 'free time' and use 'something' to improve fluency.
× But as a child I would like to do arts and crafts.
✓ But as a child I liked to do arts and crafts.
The speaker intends to describe a habitual past action. Using 'would like' suggests present desire or conditional; use simple past 'liked' or 'would' + base verb for past habit ('I would do arts and crafts'). Here 'liked to do' is clearer and matches past tense context.
× That would be the activity that I would do most if I have a free time because I think that I am able to put all my thoughts and creativity.
✓ That was the activity I did most when I had free time because I could put all my thoughts and creativity into it.
Tense consistency: the context is past, so change 'would' and 'have' to past forms 'was'/'did'/'had'. 'a free time' is incorrect—use 'free time'. Also complete the final clause by adding 'into it' and use 'could' instead of 'am able to' for past ability.
× A hobby that stick to me since I was a child is doing arts and crafts.
✓ A hobby that stuck with me since I was a child is doing arts and crafts.
The verb form 'stick' does not agree with the past reference 'since I was a child'. Use past participle or past simple 'stuck' and the correct preposition 'with' ('stick with someone'). Alternatively: 'A hobby that has stuck with me since I was a child is arts and crafts.'
× As I grew up, I developed different hobbies, I tried out different things, but doing arts and crafts just give me a sense of relaxation and I am able to put all my creativity into it.
✓ As I grew up, I developed different hobbies and tried out different things, but doing arts and crafts just gives me a sense of relaxation and allows me to put all my creativity into it.
Comma splice: two independent clauses joined by a comma; use 'and' or separate sentences. Subject-verb agreement: 'doing arts and crafts just give me' should be 'gives' because the singular gerund phrase 'doing arts and crafts' takes a singular verb. 'I am able to' is wordy; 'allows me to' is more natural. Maintain past reference for 'grew up/developed/tried' but present for general truth 'gives' is acceptable.
× Yes, I do, and I think that the reason why is because I would often do arts and crafts with my sisters.
✓ Yes, I do, and I think the reason is that I often did arts and crafts with my sisters.
Redundant phrasing 'the reason why is because' should be 'the reason is that'. Tense consistency: speaking about past habit use simple past 'did' or 'would do'. Also remove unnecessary comma placement. This corrects pronoun/reference and stylistic redundancy.
× So as they grew up, that became something that they like to do, even if they're doing it on their own.
✓ So as they grew up, that became something they liked to do, even when they did it on their own.
Tense inconsistency: main clause refers to past ('grew up', 'became') so subordinate clauses should also use past tense 'liked' and 'did'. 'even if they're doing it' mixes present progressive with past reference; change to past simple for consistency.
