Điểm: 70.0Gợi ý: Answer directly and use a contrasting linking word (e.g., “However” or “But”). Give one or two concrete examples of how your hobbies differ from your family’s and avoid awkward phrasing (e.g., “night out stays”).
Ví dụ: No, my hobbies are different from my family’s. I enjoy traveling, going to beaches, and spending nights out with friends, whereas my family prefers staying at home and enjoying time together.
× Yes, I have basically number of hobbies, for instance playing cricket.
✓ Yes, I basically have a number of hobbies, for instance, playing cricket.
Incorrect word order and missing article 'a' before 'number'. Use 'a number of' to indicate several; adverb 'basically' should precede 'have' or be placed after subject. Also add a comma before 'for instance'. Suggestion: say 'I basically have a number of hobbies' or 'I have a number of hobbies'.
× And doing swimming with it, whereas other than that I usually have some outdoor activities which are travelling around the mountains or visiting beaches.
✓ I also go swimming, and I usually do outdoor activities such as travelling around the mountains or visiting beaches.
'Doing swimming' is incorrect—use 'go swimming' or 'swimming' as a noun. 'Whereas other than that' is redundant; use 'and' or 'I usually'. 'Which are travelling' should be 'such as travelling' to list examples. Suggestion: 'I also go swimming, and I usually do outdoor activities such as travelling around the mountains or visiting beaches.'
× Well, I cannot recall it perfectly at the moment but I do contemplate that I had number of hobbies when I was a child.
✓ Well, I cannot recall it perfectly at the moment, but I believe that I had a number of hobbies when I was a child.
Use present 'believe' or 'think' instead of 'do contemplate' which is unnatural; 'a number of' needs article 'a'. Tense 'had' is fine for childhood. Suggestion: use 'I believe' and include 'a' before 'number'.
× From my perspective in my childhood I was very much into cricket as well as I do love riding bicycle as I always do ride cycles with my friend.
✓ From my perspective in childhood, I was very much into cricket, and I also loved riding a bicycle; I used to ride bicycles with my friends.
Mix of tenses and singular/plural errors: 'do love' (present) conflicts with past context—use past 'loved'. 'Riding bicycle' needs article 'a' or plural 'bicycles'. 'I always do ride cycles' is unnatural; use 'I used to ride bicycles'. 'friend' should be plural if general: 'friends'. Suggestion: keep past tense and correct articles and plurality.
× Well, that's totally interesting talking about as I still have that hobby I had chosen in my childhood.
✓ Well, it's interesting to talk about that, as I still have the hobby I chose in my childhood.
Awkward phrasing 'totally interesting talking about'—use 'it's interesting to talk about'. 'Had chosen' is past perfect but unnecessary; simple past 'chose' is sufficient. Keep present 'still have' and simple past for when chosen. Suggestion: use clear clause order: 'it's interesting to talk about that, as I still have the hobby I chose in my childhood.'
× I'm still into cricket very much.
✓ I'm still very much into cricket.
Word order: place adverbial phrase 'very much' before 'into' or after 'still' for natural English. Suggestion: 'I'm still very much into cricket.'
× I do love riding bicycle as well, and I still love to travel around the world exploring new countries, new languages and new culture.
✓ I also love riding bicycles, and I still love to travel around the world, exploring new countries, new languages, and new cultures.
'Riding bicycle' needs plural or article: 'riding bicycles' or 'riding a bicycle'. 'New culture' should be plural 'new cultures' to match 'countries, languages'. Add commas for list clarity. Suggestion: pluralize to match parallel structure.
× I do love this thing and I prefer to have the same hobby into the next upcoming years.
✓ I love this, and I plan to keep the same hobbies in the coming years.
'Prefer to have the same hobby into the next upcoming years' is unidiomatic. Use 'plan to keep' or 'intend to continue' and 'in the coming years' or 'over the next few years'. Also ensure 'hobby' vs 'hobbies' matches earlier mention; if multiple, use plural. Suggestion: 'I plan to keep the same hobbies in the coming years.'
× Well, no, none of my family member has the same hobby as I do.
✓ No, none of my family members has the same hobbies as I do.
'Family member' should be plural 'family members' when preceded by 'none of'. Also 'hobby' should be plural 'hobbies' if comparing multiple activities or keep singular consistently. Suggestion: use 'none of my family members has the same hobbies as I do.'
× I actually love traveling around the world, exploring new countries, going to beaches, having night out stays with friends.
✓ I actually love traveling around the world, exploring new countries, going to beaches, and spending nights out with friends.
'Having night out stays' is unnatural; use 'spending nights out' or 'going out at night'. Maintain parallel gerund forms and natural expressions. Suggestion: 'spending nights out with friends.'
× Whereas my family members love to remain in the home and enjoy sharing moments together.
✓ My family members prefer to stay at home and enjoy spending time together.
'Whereas' is unnecessary at sentence start; 'remain in the home' is awkward—use 'stay at home'. 'Sharing moments' is vague—use 'spending time together'. Suggestion: 'My family members prefer to stay at home and enjoy spending time together.'
