Would you like to visit other cities that have different climates from where you live?
Điểm: 60.0Gợi ý: Answer briefly and directly: say yes or no, name an example city and a specific reason, then mention when you would go. Reduce fillers and repetition. Use clear sentences: “Yes, I would like to visit Shimla to experience snowfall, which we don’t have at home.”
Ví dụ: Yes, I would like to visit Shimla to experience real snowfall, which we don’t get where I live. I usually go there with family in winter to enjoy the snow and winter activities.
× Oh well, where I live the the result type of weather will hot in summer, cold in winter as well as pleasant weather and the spring season and also there was a rainfall in the monsoon season.
✓ Oh well, where I live the weather is hot in summer, cold in winter, pleasant in spring, and there is rainfall in the monsoon season.
Wrong or extra articles and awkward phrasing. 'the the' is duplication; 'the result type of weather' is unnatural. Use 'the weather is' to describe typical conditions; use commas to separate seasons and 'there is rainfall' to state existence of rainfall. Use present simple for general facts about climate.
× I love all the weeders and climate in of my country and according to the weather I enjoy and I have the clothes according.
✓ I love all the weathers and climates in my country, and depending on the weather I enjoy it and have appropriate clothes.
Wrong preposition 'in of' should be 'in'. 'according to the weather' is better as 'depending on the weather'. 'weeder' is misspelling of 'weather' or 'weathers' and 'have the clothes according' is ungrammatical—use 'have appropriate clothes' or 'dress accordingly'.
× Oh well, I love the cold weather because in winter season there are lots of festivals that come and which I feel very fascinated at the time and also there are lots of seasonal fruits and vegetable to eat which I love the most.
✓ Oh well, I love cold weather because in the winter season there are lots of festivals that happen, and I find them fascinating, and there are also many seasonal fruits and vegetables to eat, which I love the most.
Use plural 'vegetables' to match 'fruits' and 'many' rather than 'lots of' is acceptable but keep consistency. 'festivals that come' is unnatural; use 'festivals that happen'. Replace 'feel very fascinated' with 'find them fascinating'.
× So that is why these are the reason behind this.
✓ So that is why these are the reasons behind it.
Pronoun-number agreement and choice: 'these' requires plural 'reasons'. Use 'it' or 'this' consistently; 'behind this' is okay but 'behind it' is smoother. Also 'reason' should be plural.
× When it's dependent on the situation, sometimes when I just want to go anywhere, I love the dry weather.
✓ It depends on the situation; sometimes when I just want to go out, I prefer dry weather.
'When it's dependent on the situation' is awkward; use 'It depends on the situation'. 'go anywhere' should be 'go out' or 'go somewhere'. Use 'prefer' rather than 'love' for weather choice if consistent.
× But when I just there was cold, there was hot climate.
✓ But when it is cold or hot, my preference changes.
Sentence is ungrammatical and mixes tenses and structure. Use a clear clause 'when it is cold or hot' and state the effect on preference.
× And then I prefer wet weather because I love the rains and I enjoy the rainfall.
✓ Then I prefer wet weather because I love the rain and enjoy the rainfall.
'Rains' is plural noun in some varieties but 'the rain' is more natural in this context. 'Enjoy the rainfall' is fine but avoid redundant nouns; use either 'rain' or 'rainfall'. Present simple 'prefer' matches habitual preference.
× Definitely not, this is my habit, but I think this is uh, the habit of all person whenever they want to go for uh, their work or on their duty, they definitely check uh, the forecast, weather forecast because it is quite necessary because according to the weather, we are prepared for uh, anything.
✓ Definitely yes, this is my habit, and I think it is the habit of most people: whenever they want to go to work or on duty, they check the weather forecast because it is necessary; according to the forecast we can prepare for anything.
Original used 'Definitely not' contradicting intended meaning. 'all person' should be 'most people' or 'everyone'. 'go for their work' should be 'go to work'. Remove filler words and duplicate 'because'. Use colon or commas to clarify. Maintain present simple for habitual actions.
× Well, due to climate change, there are lots of effect in recent years because there are lots of areas where the rains, rain are quite heavy.
✓ Well, due to climate change, there have been lots of effects in recent years because there are many areas where the rains are quite heavy.
Use plural 'effects' to match 'lots of'. Use present perfect 'have been' for recent changes. 'the rains, rain are' is incorrect punctuation and duplication; use 'the rains are quite heavy' or 'rainfall is quite heavy'.
× So that is why there are lots of floods are there and some areas which face the drought position.
✓ So that is why there are many floods, and some areas face droughts.
Remove redundant 'are there'. Use 'many floods' rather than 'lots of floods are there'. 'face the drought position' is incorrect; use 'face droughts' or 'experience drought'.
× So that is why there are lots of changes we see in.
✓ So that is why we see many changes.
Original sentence ends awkwardly with 'in'. Simplify to 'we see many changes'. Maintain present simple for general observations.
× Well, definitely I love to the other cities like, uh, near, uh, why there there is this Shimla, uh, where there was this, uh, there is a small, uh, snowfall.
✓ Well, I would definitely like to visit other cities nearby, such as Shimla, where there is some snowfall.
Use 'visit' rather than 'love to the other cities'. Remove filler and repetition. 'near' needs an object like 'nearby' or 'near my city'. 'there was this, uh, there is a small snowfall' mixes tenses; use present simple 'there is some snowfall' for general fact.
× So that I like that weather because, uh, the snowfall is not in my, uh, state.
✓ I like that weather because snowfall does not occur in my state.
Avoid unnecessary definite article 'the' before 'snowfall' when speaking generally. 'is not in my state' is unidiomatic; use 'does not occur in my state'.
× So that is why I prefer to go and enjoy that weather, uh, with my friends or family.
✓ So that is why I prefer to go and enjoy that weather with my friends or family.
Remove filler 'uh' and maintain infinitive 'to go and enjoy'. Structure is acceptable; present simple 'prefer' suits habitual preference.
× Sometimes in the winters, I definitely visit.
✓ Sometimes in the winter, I definitely visit there.
'In the winters' is acceptable in some varieties, but 'in the winter' is more natural. Add object 'there' to clarify visiting Shimla. Keep present simple for habitual action.
