Does happy music make you feel more excited?
Candidato
Of course, happy music can share people so much and is often related to excitement and bringing hope back to someone's life. However, it also can affect your mood in a way and your brain tends to not look for this type of music as it's like to stay in a negative state most of the time.

Yes, in the past I used to do all things while listening to music, but now I try to limit it to whenever I'm go for a run or when I'm driving because I try to limit my exposure to music a lot nowadays because it can affect my mood and the way I think a lot.

Pontuação: 54.0Sugestão: Be clearer and more natural: start with a direct topic sentence stating your preference, avoid hesitations and repetitions, correct word choice (e.g., relics → lyrics), and keep to 3–4 sentences. Use a linking word to contrast your liking for sad music with why you limit it. Give a brief specific example of when you choose happy music.
Exemplo: I usually prefer sad music because the lyrics often reflect my own experiences and feelings. However, I limit how much I listen to it because it can make me dwell on negative thoughts. Therefore, when I need to lift my spirits—for example, before meeting friends—I switch to upbeat songs to feel more energetic.

Pontuação: 48.0Sugestão: Avoid vague or confusing phrasing and stay concise. Begin with a direct answer (Yes/No) and support it with a clear reason and a short example. Replace unclear expressions (e.g., “can share people so much”) with precise verbs and reduce contradictory statements without explanation.
Exemplo: Yes, happy music usually makes me feel more excited because of its lively tempo and positive lyrics. For instance, when I listen to upbeat songs while exercising, I feel more motivated and energetic. However, when I'm feeling low, I sometimes prefer quieter songs to process my emotions.

Pontuação: 60.0Sugestão: Use correct grammar (e.g., 'never taken' not 'never take') and avoid over-repetition. Provide a concise topic sentence, then give specific details about the online courses (platform, duration, what you learned) and conclude with a brief contrast about in-person lessons.
Exemplo: No, I have never taken one-on-one music lessons, but I have completed online courses. For example, I took a 6-week singing course on a learning platform and learned basic electric guitar chords through YouTube tutorials. I haven’t had in-person lessons yet because of time constraints.
Do you listen to music while doing other things?
Pontuação: 58.0Sugestão: Be concise and avoid repeating the same reason. Start with a clear statement about your current habit, use a linking word to explain the change, and give a specific example of activities when you do and don't listen to music. Use correct verb forms (e.g., 'when I go for a run').
Exemplo: Yes, but I’ve reduced how often I do that. Whereas I used to listen to music constantly, now I mainly play it when I go for a run or drive. I avoid music while studying because I find it distracts my concentration.
× In general, I prefer sad music because often the relics really relate to my experiences and my emotions.
✓ In general, I prefer sad music because it often really relates to my experiences and my emotions.
Type 26: Sentence structure errors. The original uses 'the relics' which is incorrect and unclear in context; likely intended 'it' referring to sad music. Also word order 'often really relate' is awkward; corrected to 'it often really relates' to match singular subject 'music' with verb 'relates' and natural adverb placement.
× However, I try to avoid it a lot because it can affect my mood and it can affect the way I think.
✓ However, I try to avoid it a lot because it can affect my mood and the way I think.
Type 27: Subject-verb agreement / redundancy. 'it can affect the way I think' is grammatical but repeating 'it can' is redundant. Also original sentence is acceptable for agreement but redundancy and style improved by removing second 'it can'.
× So umm. I do tend to listen to happy music whenever I'm in mood or something something to cheer me up, but I avoid it altogether.
✓ So, I do tend to listen to happy music whenever I'm in the mood or to cheer myself up, but I avoid it altogether.
Type 26: Sentence structure errors and word choice. Missing article 'the' before 'mood' (article error, Type 22/17) and awkward phrase 'something something'. Also reflexive pronoun preferred: 'cheer myself up'. Corrected to natural phrasing.
× Of course, happy music can share people so much and is often related to excitement and bringing hope back to someone's life.
✓ Of course, happy music can move people a lot and is often associated with excitement and with bringing hope back to someone's life.
Type 6: Present tense and verb choice. 'can share people so much' is incorrect verb usage; 'move people' or 'touch people' fits. 'is often related to' is better phrased as 'is often associated with'. Adjusted for proper collocations in present tense.
× However, it also can affect your mood in a way and your brain tends to not look for this type of music as it's like to stay in a negative state most of the time.
✓ However, it can also affect your mood, and your brain may not look for this type of music because it tends to stay in a negative state most of the time.
Type 26: Sentence structure errors and modality. Original has awkward order 'it also can' (move 'also' after 'can'), 'in a way' is vague, and 'as it's like to stay' is ungrammatical. Changed to 'may not' for natural modal nuance and restructured clause for clarity.
× No, I've never take one-on-one music classes.
✓ No, I've never taken one-on-one music classes.
Type 5: Past tense issue. After 'I've' (I have) the verb should be in past participle form 'taken', not base form 'take'.
× However I took some online, I took singing classes and also I learned electric guitar online.
✓ However, I took some online classes: I took singing lessons and also learned electric guitar online.
Type 6 and 26: Present tense consistency and sentence structure. 'learned electric guitar' is acceptable past tense but 'I learned electric guitar' is better as 'learned to play the electric guitar' or 'learned electric guitar online'. Added 'classes' and 'lessons' for natural collocations and cleaned sentence structure.
× But I never ever ever engage in something real with real people and real teacher.
✓ But I have never actually engaged in anything in person with real people and a real teacher.
Type 26: Sentence structure and verb tense. Mixing present 'engage' with past context is incorrect; use present perfect 'have never engaged'. Also use 'in person' not 'something real', plural 'people' ok and 'a real teacher' needs an article.
× Yes, in the past I used to do all things while listening to music, but now I try to limit it to whenever I'm go for a run or when I'm driving because I try to limit my exposure to music a lot nowadays because it can affect my mood and the way I think a lot.
✓ Yes, in the past I used to do everything while listening to music, but now I try to limit it to when I go for a run or when I'm driving because I try to limit my exposure to music nowadays, as it can affect my mood and the way I think.
Type 6 and 11: Present tense and preposition/verb form errors. 'do all things' is unnatural; use 'do everything'. 'whenever I'm go for a run' is incorrect; use 'when I go for a run'. Removed repeated 'a lot' and adjusted clause order and conjunctions for clarity.
