In my opinion, middle school is the ideal time for students to begin studying history in depth. By then, they have developed the maturity to grasp more complex concepts and can analyze the causes and effects of historical events, rather than just memorizing dates. It's also a great stage to link history with other subjects, such as literature or geography, making the learning process more meaningful and interconnected.
