I think children are more open with their feelings. They don't really know how to hide their emotions yet, so they tend to express themselves freely. For example, if they're happy, they'll laugh and smile, and if they're upset, they'll cry or pout. They don't worry about what others think, which makes their emotional responses more genuine and spontaneous.
