A surprise encounter with a friend
When and where you met him/her
I'm going to talk about a time when I unexpectedly bumped into an old friend from university. This happened about three months ago in a bustling shopping mall in the heart of the city. I was there to buy a gift for my cousin's birthday, and as I was wandering through the aisles of a bookstore, I suddenly heard someone call my name.
Who he/she was
The person who called out to me was my friend, Alex. We had been close during our university days, sharing many classes and late-night study sessions. After graduation, we both got busy with our careers and gradually lost touch. 友人との思いがけない再会

3か月ほど前、都会の中心にあるにぎやかなショッピングモールで、大学時代の旧友に偶然出会ったときの話をします。いとこの誕生日プレゼントを買いに行っていて、本屋の通路を歩いていたときに突然誰かが私の名前を呼ぶ声が聞こえました。
彼／彼女は誰だったのか
声をかけてくれたのは友人のアレックスでした。大学時代はとても仲が良く、多くの授業を一緒に受け、夜遅くまで勉強を共にしていました。卒業後はそれぞれ忙しくなり、次第に連絡が途絶えていました。5年以上も会っていなかったので、彼が笑顔で立っているのを見てとても嬉しい驚きでした。

この経験についてどう感じたか
