We seem to be at a tipping point in terms of medical breakthroughs and the treatments that are being developed currently are going to change how we treat diseases like cancer. As can be seen from the coronavirus pandemic, thousands of scientists got together and developed a vaccine in a matter of months, developing new ways of dealing with viruses along the way. This had never been done before and has continued into the present, so we'll see new cures very soon.
