No, I think that's a bit over the top. The things we need every day basically need to be functional and practical. If I have a kitchen knife that is beautiful, it means nothing to me if it doesn't cut anything or breaks after a few months. So, first and foremost, things need to work well and do their job. After that, if it looks good, then great, but it's not my main concern, and I don't think it's anyone else's either.
