I agree that kids should learn to draw. They enjoy it and it's a way for them to express what they're thinking inside. Drawing lets them put their ideas on paper, which they might not be able to say out loud yet. Plus, it's really fun. In drawing, there's no right or wrong way, so kids have complete freedom when they hold a pencil or paintbrush. Unlike in subjects like math, no teacher is there to tell them exactly what to do, and that helps them become more independent.

I think children shouldn't be required to learn drawing and painting because it can be quite messy and distracting. The mess from paints and materials can be a headache to clean up. Plus, I feel they don't learn much from it academically. It's better if they focus on more educational activities and save art for their leisure time.
