Teaching my cousin to cook Who you taught I'm going to talk about the time I taught my younger cousin, Sarah, how to cook. She's always been interested in cooking but never really knew where to start. What you taught him/her to do I decided to teach her how to make a simple yet delicious dish—spaghetti carbonara. It's one of my favorites because it's quick, requires few ingredients, and is incredibly tasty. How easy it was to teach him/her Teaching Sarah was surprisingly easy. She was very eager to learn and listened attentively to all the instructions I gave her. She was particularly good at following the recipe and timing everything perfectly, which is crucial for a dish like carbonara where the pasta needs to be just right. Explain how you felt about teaching this friend/relative I felt really proud and happy about teaching her. It was a wonderful experience to share something I'm passionate about with someone I care about. Seeing her excitement as she cooked and her satisfaction with the final dish was incredibly rewarding.
