When you watched it
I’d like to talk about a movie that I really didn’t enjoy, which is called “The Last Disaster.” I watched this film about a year ago, during the winter holidays. At that time, I was staying at home with my family, and we were looking for something entertaining to watch together. Since it was a new release and had been advertised a lot on social media, we decided to give it a try one Saturday evening.

We watched it at home, in our living room, on a streaming platform. I remember we made some popcorn and turned off the lights to create a cinema-like atmosphere. Everyone was quite excited because the trailer looked promising, and the cast included some well-known actors. I was expecting a thrilling experience, especially since disaster movies are usually quite engaging and full of suspense.
What it was about
The movie was supposed to be a science fiction disaster film. The plot revolved around a group of scientists who discover that a giant asteroid is heading towards Earth, and they have only a few days to save humanity. The main characters travel to space to try and destroy the asteroid before it hits. However, the storyline was extremely predictable, and the special effects were not convincing at all. The characters seemed one-dimensional, and their actions didn’t make much sense. There were also a lot of unnecessary subplots that made the movie drag on for over two hours.
And explain why it’s your least favourite movie
The main reason why “The Last Disaster” is my least favourite movie is that it was a huge disappointment. I had high expectations because of the hype and the impressive trailer, but the actual film was boring and lacked originality. The dialogue was cliché, and I found myself losing interest halfway through. In fact, I even considered turning it off, but I stayed until the end, hoping it would improve. Unfortunately, it didn’t. The ending was rushed and didn’t provide any real resolution. After watching it, I felt like I had wasted my time. Compared to other disaster movies I’ve seen, this one just didn’t measure up in terms of excitement or emotional impact. For all these reasons, I would say that “The Last Disaster” is definitely my least favourite movie, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
