Topic:A genuinely cheerful friend
Who this person is
The person I’d like to talk about is my close friend, Emily. I’ve known her for almost ten years now, ever since we met at university. She’s one of those people who always seems to be in a good mood, no matter what’s happening around her. We became friends almost instantly because her positive energy is simply contagious, and she has a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and welcome.
What he/she is like
Emily is a very outgoing and optimistic person. She has a bubbly personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand to others. She’s the type of person who looks on the bright side of things, even when faced with challenges. For example, if something doesn’t go according to plan, she’ll just laugh it off and try to find a solution rather than getting upset or frustrated. She’s also incredibly empathetic and always listens carefully when someone needs to talk. Her sense of humor is another thing that stands out; she can make people laugh even in the most stressful situations.
How he/she shows happiness
Emily expresses her happiness in a variety of ways. She smiles a lot and has a very distinctive, infectious laugh that you can hear from across the room. She’s also very expressive with her gestures—she’ll often clap her hands or even do a little dance when she’s excited about something. Besides, she loves to celebrate even the smallest achievements, whether it’s baking a cake for a friend’s birthday or organizing a spontaneous picnic in the park. She’s always the first to suggest fun activities and encourages others to join in, which really shows how much she enjoys life and wants others to share in her happiness.
And explain why you think he/she is a happy person
I believe Emily is a genuinely happy person because she finds joy in the simple things in life and doesn’t let negativity affect her for long. She’s grateful for what she has and focuses on building strong relationships with her friends and family. I’ve noticed that she rarely complains and instead tries to see the positive side of every situation. For instance, during the pandemic, when many people were feeling down, she started a virtual book club to keep everyone connected and motivated. Her ability to stay cheerful and spread positivity, even during tough times, is truly inspiring. That’s why I think she’s not only a happy person herself, but also someone who brings happiness to those around her.
