Yes, I think being tidy is important. When my room is clean, I can find my things more easily and I feel more comfortable. Also, it looks better when friends or family come over.

I don't think it's always necessary to be tidy. Some people work well even if their room is a bit messy. For me, a little mess doesn't really bother me.
