I need to read carefully when I am looking at important documents, like contracts or exam instructions. If I don’t pay attention, I might make a mistake or miss something important. Also, when I am studying for school, I have to read carefully to understand everything.

I don’t need to read carefully when I’m just reading comics or scrolling through social media. I usually just look at the pictures or main points. If it’s a message from a close friend, I don’t always read every word.
