Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Now, and thank you so much for joining me in today's mega lesson. There are so many ways to improve your English fluency. In today's lesson, I'm going to give you 100 advanced verbs you can use to take your conversations to the next level. At the end of this lesson, can you please let me know which verb was your favorite? Everyone has a favorite. My personal favorite is verb number four, reminisce. Why? Well, it's just a really pretty verb. It sounds nice. Reminisce. Reminisce. Verb number four.

Not only do I explain the verbs with pronunciation and examples, but there are also 25 conversation gap fills you can use to test your understanding. Complete each gap fill. Listen and check your answers. Then I want you to pause the video and read the conversations out loud. Imitation is a powerful way to practice speaking, and you can do it from home. If you have a speaking partner, even better. I also want you to think in English using today's verbs. So I have a discussion question for each and every verb. Use these questions to once again review everything from this lesson. When I said this was a mega lesson, I wasn't kidding. There's going to be so much information in today's lesson. So I put all the verbs, examples, and exercises into one handy-dandy convenient PDF. All together, that's 40 pages of notes. And in the PDF, I include a bonus mini conversation for each and every verb. Yep, that's 100 extra examples that are not in this video. If you'd like my PDF, click the link in the video description, which will take you to my store and select the PDF that goes with this video. This PDF will be sent directly to your inbox, which you can keep forever.

Okay, before we begin with the verbs, I want to answer a really common question. Are the verbs today American English or British English? Well, firstly, I'm American, so I have an American accent. But the verbs are both. You can comfortably use these verbs in your conversations, in your writing, including academic writing. Don't worry about American English or British English. These verbs are really common everywhere. Some of the verbs are spelled differently in American English and British English, but don't worry, I'll make that clear for you on the screen. I think we need to start with verb number one.
