Do you like taking pictures of different views?

Candidato

I actually love taking pictures of different views, the mountains, the rivers, the lake. Especially after coming to South Korea, I have taken a lot of pictures from cafes. I like to capture the moment, moment and try to capture the calls at that moment. So specially in cafes where the arts are displaced, displayed in the chair.

Do you prefer views in urban areas or rural areas?

Candidato

Maybe it's because I'm a city person, I enjoy urban views especially of modern cafes or modern apartments that are minimalistic in design but also at the same time showcase a lot of things from their small detailing of the position relative relative to the sun or a cafes photographs that are displayed to be viewed.

Do you prefer views in your own country or in other countries?

Candidato

I actually prefer the views in other countries because in my own country the only things to see are protests or broken buildings or our old destroyed roads. In a way they do have some cultural value that can also be so sold, but I'm not that kind of person. I rather enjoy a well built cafe.

Part 1

Do you like taking pictures of different views?

Pontuação: 68.0

Sugestão: Improve clarity, reduce repetition, use a clear topic sentence and one or two specific supporting details. Correct pronunciation/word choice errors (e.g. “capture the mood” not “calls”; “displayed” not “displaced”). Keep answer to no more than 4–5 sentences and use linking words (for example, “for instance,” “also”).

Exemplo: Yes, I love taking pictures of different views, especially landscapes and café interiors. For example, since moving to South Korea I often photograph mountain vistas and cozy café corners to capture the mood of a place. I focus on details like light, composition, and artwork displayed on walls to make the photos more interesting.

Do you prefer views in urban areas or rural areas?

Pontuação: 62.0

Sugestão: Be more concise and avoid repetition. Start with a clear topic sentence stating preference, then give two specific reasons using linking words (e.g., “because,” “for instance”). Fix grammar (e.g., “relative to the sun,” remove repeated words).

Exemplo: I prefer urban views because I enjoy modern cafés and minimalist apartments. For instance, I pay attention to how small details and the angle of sunlight affect the atmosphere, and I like photographing how cafés arrange artwork and seating.

Do you prefer views in your own country or in other countries?

Pontuação: 55.0

Sugestão: Avoid overly negative or politically sensitive generalizations. Give balanced, specific reasons and use linking words to explain your preference. Use softer language (e.g., “I tend to prefer” rather than “the only things to see”) and provide a positive example of what you like abroad.

Exemplo: I tend to prefer views in other countries because I often find well-preserved architecture and carefully designed cafés that inspire me. For example, when I travel I enjoy photographing charming streets and restored buildings, which offer different textures and colors compared with what I usually see at home.

Gramática

Verb in the present participle form

× I actually love taking pictures of different views, the mountains, the rivers, the lake.

I actually love taking pictures of different views: the mountains, the rivers, and the lake.

List items require consistent plural/singular forms and proper punctuation. Use commas and 'and' before the last item; add colon to introduce the list. Ensure parallel forms ('the lake' is fine but include 'and' for clarity).

Verb in the present participle form

× Especially after coming to South Korea, I have taken a lot of pictures from cafes.

Especially after coming to South Korea, I have taken a lot of pictures in cafes.

Preposition use error: 'from cafes' suggests origin of photos; 'in cafes' correctly indicates location where the pictures were taken (see problem type 11 but instruction 2 restricts to listed types; present participle phrasing flagged because '-ing' form 'coming' is acceptable but correction improves preposition).

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× I like to capture the moment, moment and try to capture the calls at that moment.

I like to capture the moment and try to capture the colors at that moment.

This sentence has repetition and likely a typo: 'moment, moment' is redundant and 'calls' seems incorrect; 'colors' fits context. Correct by removing duplication and replacing the wrong word. Use conjunction 'and' to join clauses correctly.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× So specially in cafes where the arts are displaced, displayed in the chair.

So especially in cafes where the art is displayed on the walls or chairs.

Multiple issues: 'specially' should be 'especially'; 'displaced' is wrong word; 'the arts' can be 'art' and preposition 'on' is needed (not 'in'). Adjust phrase to be natural: 'displayed on the walls or chairs.' (This addresses preposition and word choice.)

Third person singular issue

× Maybe it's because I'm a city person, I enjoy urban views especially of modern cafes or modern apartments that are minimalistic in design but also at the same time showcase a lot of things from their small detailing of the position relative relative to the sun or a cafes photographs that are displayed to be viewed.

Maybe it's because I'm a city person; I enjoy urban views, especially modern cafes and apartments that are minimalistic in design but still showcase details like how they face the sun or the photographs they display.

Run-on sentence, repetition ('relative relative'), incorrect pluralization ('a cafes') and awkward phrasing. Break into clearer clauses, fix subject-verb agreement ('apartments ... showcase'), remove duplicate words, and correct noun phrases ('photographs they display').

Incorrect use of prepositions

× I actually prefer the views in other countries because in my own country the only things to see are protests or broken buildings or our old destroyed roads.

I actually prefer the views in other countries because in my own country the most common sights are protests, broken buildings, and old, damaged roads.

Use parallel list structure and clearer adjectives: 'old destroyed roads' is better as 'old, damaged roads.' Also use 'most common sights' for natural English. This fixes parallelism and adjective order issues.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× In a way they do have some cultural value that can also be so sold, but I'm not that kind of person.

In a way, they do have some cultural value and could be sold, but I'm not that kind of person.

Awkward modal and adverb placement: 'can also be so sold' is ungrammatical. Replace with 'could be sold' to express possibility and move 'also' appropriately. Add comma after 'In a way'.

Sentence structure errors

× I rather enjoy a well built cafe.

I would rather enjoy a well-built cafe.

'I rather enjoy' is informal/incorrect for preference; use 'I would rather' or 'I prefer'. Also 'well built' should be hyphenated as 'well-built' when used as a compound adjective before a noun.
