Not really. My memory is not really good, so I usually need the tricks to help me remember things. I like using applications or making a short notes for example. When I remember the vocabulary I usually set reminders at and I used the flash card to to help me.

Yes I was completely forget a a close friend's birthday. He didn't say anything at the first but I could tell he was a bit disappointed. I feel really bad and later made it up for by treating her to a dinner and buying her a gift. Now I always decided remind us to tell me.

I prefer rely on my smartphones. I usually cite the reminders on my phone. If something is really important like a meeting at work or someone's birthday, I will put in my calendars with a notification. I also use to do lists applications sometimes. Honestly I don't full trust my memory so I'd like to use it.
