In what conditions would you use a computer?
应先用一句主题句直接回答(例如:I use a computer for both work and daily life),然后用1–2个具体例子并用连接词组织(e.g. for instance, additionally)。

My life would be much harder without computers. For example, I would have to prepare all lesson materials by hand, communicate with parents by paper notices, and grade exams manually, so I would be far less productive and spend many more hours on routine tasks.

(Yes, there is one condition that)。
I find it difficult to use a computer when I visit my remote hometown because the internet connection is very poor. As a result, I can't access online resources easily, so I often rely on offline lesson plans or use my mobile phone hotspot when necessary.
× I have to say that there are many conditions that we need a computer both for work and for our daily lives.
✓ I have to say that there are many situations in which we need a computer, both for work and for our daily lives.
原句使用了不太地道的“conditions that we need a computer”结构,英语中更常用“situations in which we need something”或“conditions in which we need”。
× For example, I work as a teacher at a school, so every day I need a computer to prepare my lessons and sometimes when I am off work I also need a computer.
✓ For example, I work as a teacher at a school, so every day I need a computer to prepare my lessons, and sometimes when I am off work I also use a computer.
原句重复使用“I need a computer”显得累赘。
× Wow, it was actually many years ago when I was still a primary school.
✓ Wow, it was actually many years ago when I was still in primary school.
× I remember it was in 2003 I first touched a computer.
✓ I remember it was in 2003 when I first used a computer.
“touched a computer”用法不自然,通常说“use a computer”或“first used a computer”。
× It was still quite interesting.
✓ It was really quite interesting.
× Personally speaking, if there were no computers, my life would be totally different.
✓ Personally speaking, if there were no computers, my life would be totally different.
× To be more precise, for example, I work as a teacher.
✓ To be more precise, for example, I work as a teacher.
句子本身语法正确,但“To be more precise, for example”有些冗余,可根据语境保留其中之一。
× If there were no computers for me, I would have to do a lot of work and I would be less productive and efficient.
✓ If there were no computers for me, I would have to do a lot more work and I would be less productive and efficient.
× Yes, there is one condition that it is difficult for me to use a computer.
✓ Yes, there is one situation in which it is difficult for me to use a computer.
原句中“one condition that it is difficult for me to use a computer”结构不自然。使用“situation in which”或“condition in which”更符合英语定语从句结构,避免多余的“that it”。
× For example, when I go back to my hometown, a small remote village, I often find it hard to use a computer because the Internet there is quite poor.
✓ For example, when I go back to my hometown, a small remote village, I often find it hard to use a computer because the Internet there is quite poor.
注意“go back to my hometown”与插入语“a small remote village”搭配无误;“the Internet there is quite poor”表达自然。
