Part 1
試験官
Are you good at memorising things?
受験者
Not actually. So whenever I tend to read or tend to memorize something that I need to prepare for the exam, then I'm very bad at it. So what techniques I normally use is I need to relate my thing that I need to understand with some other kind of thing so that it will be memorizable. So I need to understand a little bit more rather than just memorizing it. So I need to remember the context.
試験官
Have you ever forgotten something important?
受験者
It's actually just yesterday I had this meeting with my boss and I forgot to reschedule it because I was kind of busy doing some other thing on that period so I needed to reschedule but I completely forgot that and my friend reminded me afterward. So I am, I think, very bad at remembering some things but I tend to write it on my notepad.
試験官
What do you need to remember in your daily life?
受験者
I think it will be mostly my day-to-day workspace works or day-to-day my talks that I need to complete by the end of the day. So it will be mostly the menial talks about the software engineering jobs, the tasks that I need to maybe communicate with the boss on the regular basis and those kind of things mostly.
試験官
How do you remember important things?
受験者
I used to forget a lot of important things back then, so my friend suggested me to have it return on my notepad. So I have downloaded it on my app. Now it is very convenient to me. Just open that app and just take down all the things and also save the deadline if something is important and need to be done within some time.

× So what techniques I normally use is I need to relate my thing that I need to understand with some other kind of thing so that it will be memorizable.
✓ So the technique I normally use is relating the thing I need to understand with some other kind of thing so that it will be memorizable.
The original sentence incorrectly uses 'I need to relate' instead of the gerund form 'relating' after 'is'. In English, after 'is', a gerund (verb + -ing) is used to describe an action or technique. Therefore, 'relating' is correct here.
× So I need to understand a little bit more rather than just memorizing it.
✓ So I need to understand a little bit more rather than just memorize it.
After 'rather than', the base form of the verb is preferred instead of the gerund. So 'memorize' is correct instead of 'memorizing' in this context.
× I was kind of busy doing some other thing on that period so I needed to reschedule but I completely forgot that and my friend reminded me afterward.
✓ I was kind of busy doing some other things during that period so I needed to reschedule but I completely forgot that and my friend reminded me afterward.
The phrase 'some other thing' is incorrect because 'thing' should be plural here to indicate multiple tasks or activities. Also, 'on that period' should be 'during that period' (preposition correction).
× I was kind of busy doing some other thing on that period so I needed to reschedule but I completely forgot that and my friend reminded me afterward.
✓ I was kind of busy doing some other things during that period so I needed to reschedule but I completely forgot that and my friend reminded me afterward.
The preposition 'on' is incorrect with 'period'; the correct preposition is 'during' to indicate a time span.
× my friend suggested me to have it return on my notepad.
✓ my friend suggested that I use it on my notepad.
The verb 'suggest' is not followed by an object pronoun plus infinitive. Instead, it is followed by 'that' plus a clause with the subject and base verb. So 'suggested me to have it return' is incorrect; it should be 'suggested that I use it'.
× So I have downloaded it on my app.
✓ So I have downloaded it on my app.
This sentence is acceptable but 'on my app' is better expressed as 'in my app' because something is downloaded into an app, not on it.
× So I have downloaded it on my app.
✓ So I have downloaded it in my app.
The correct preposition to use with 'downloaded' and 'app' is 'in' because the content is stored inside the app.
